UEFA has unveiled a major new partnership with Kaizen Gaming, one of the leading names in GameTech, naming its premium brand Betano as the official global sponsor of the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League. This sponsorship will take effect from the 2024/25 season and extend through to the 2026/27 season. Additionally, Kaizen Gaming’s Greek and Cypriot brand, Stoiximan, will serve as the competition’s sponsors in those respective countries.
The announcement, made in Monaco prior to the UEFA men’s club competition draws, marks a significant extension of the successful collaboration between UEFA and Kaizen Gaming. This partnership builds on the notable success of Betano’s role as the first-ever betting partner of UEFA EURO 2024. The previous sponsorship saw the Kaizen Foundation and the UEFA Foundation for Children partner on the 10,000 Smiles project, which enabled 10,000 children from underprivileged backgrounds to attend 40 matches across ten stadiums during UEFA EURO 2024.
Aris Dimarakis, Deputy CEO of Kaizen Gaming, expressed enthusiasm about the new deal, stating: “Our collaboration with UEFA during EURO 2024 was outstanding, significantly enhancing the fan experience and demonstrating our commitment to responsible gaming and unique entertainment. Building on that success, we are excited to extend our support to the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League. This partnership underscores our growth and our team’s dedication to delivering exceptional entertainment.”
UEFA Marketing Director Guy-Laurent Epstein also shared his excitement about the renewed partnership. “We are delighted to announce Betano as our global sponsor for the next three seasons of the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League. Their activation during UEFA EURO 2024 was impressive, and we look forward to seeing how Betano will capture the passion of European club football and bring even more excitement to the fans.”
The UEFA Europa League’s new 36-team league phase is set to commence on 25 September 2024, with the UEFA Conference League, also featuring 36 clubs, starting on 3 October 2024.
