The Bowling Club has two greens fenced off within the park area, together with a club house for the meeting and social aspects of the club.
The bowling club runs 5 veteran gentlemen’s teams & 2 ladies bowling teams during the bowling season from March to October, and helps with tuition and social sessions for inexperienced bowlers on Tuesday afternoons. Any member of the public is welcome to join us at these times.
The club hosts league cup matches and runs an open bowling competition for the Gorton Carnival in July.
We take great pride in providing and supporting a community facility for the benefit of local people, and promoting to adjoining authorities the facilities available in Debdale Park.
Sessions including sign language lessons, Spanish lessons, and indoor curling are all being planned to take place for members in the clubhouse over the winter months.
