Hard Rock Cafe Manchester has been named one of the top three best-performing locations in Europe during the brand’s World Burger Tour, an annual event showcasing limited-time menu items from around the globe. The restaurant’s success has been attributed in part to the popularity of the Pittsburgh US Burger, which has become a firm favourite among local customers. This American-inspired burger, featuring beer cheese sauce, whiskey bacon jam, and even French fries tucked inside, has been the best-seller on the special menu.
Manchester’s enthusiasm for burgers is clear, with customers flocking to try the World Burger Tour offerings, a selection of five internationally inspired burgers. Despite stiff competition from Hard Rock Cafes across the world, Manchester’s love for these indulgent creations has helped the venue achieve significant sales. While their signature Chili Cheese Habanero Burger did not earn a permanent place on Hard Rock’s global menu, the Pittsburgh US Burger and other offerings have been hugely successful at the Manchester location.
Aneta Jarzmik, General Manager at Hard Rock Cafe Manchester, expressed her delight at the event’s success. “The World Burger Tour has been a fantastic event for us. It’s given us the opportunity to collaborate with international Hard Rock Cafes and bring something new and exciting to our customers. The response has been incredible, and if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that Manchester loves its burgers!” she said.
Burger Selection
The World Burger Tour has introduced five unique burgers to Hard Rock’s menu, each priced at £17.95 and available until 2nd September. These burgers draw inspiration from different cities and cultures, offering customers a chance to experience international flavours without leaving Manchester.
The five options include:
- Pittsburgh US Burger: Two smashed and stacked beef patties with beer cheese sauce, whiskey bacon jam, smoked bacon, pickles, and French fries, all topped with American cheese and Legendary sauce.
- Bengaluru India Burger: A 7oz steak burger with American cheese, black bean corn salsa, sweet and spicy pickle sauce, roasted jalapeno, guacamole, and shredded lettuce.
- Kathmandu Nepal Burger: Two smashed beef patties topped with sweet chili mayo, Provolone cheese, caramelised onions, avocado, and zucchini-tomato slaw.
- Bucharest Romania Burger: A 7oz steak burger featuring garlic horseradish aioli, marinated Camembert cheese, cranberry and wine jam, smoked shoestring onions, and Frisée lettuce.
- Gramado Brazil Burger: A 7oz steak burger served with garlic aioli, crispy Mozzarella cheese, whiskey bacon jam, and arugula.
These five burgers are available for a limited time, and their distinctive international influences have made them popular among customers. The Pittsburgh US Burger has even outsold some of Hard Rock’s regular menu items, such as the Wings and Nachos.
