Russell Wright-Turner has officially joined the ownership group of Zerum, a leading multi-disciplinary property consultancy, marking a significant development for the firm. Having been a vital part of Zerum for several years, Wright-Turner will continue to lead and expand the consultancy’s cost management business in his new role as partner.
Wright-Turner first joined Zerum in 2020 as head of the cost management division. Since then, he has spearheaded a team dedicated to delivering high-quality project services across various sectors, including residential, commercial, purpose-built student accommodation, hotels, and retail. His leadership has seen Zerum’s cost management team contribute to a series of high-profile projects.
Notable projects under his guidance include the impressive 40-storey co-living tower on Gorton Street in Salford, Capital & Centric’s 190-unit Talbot Mill in Manchester, and Blacklight’s recently completed £60 million student scheme, Limelight, in Liverpool. Additionally, the 284-unit private rented development, The Tilt Works in Sheffield, delivered by Grainger, is another key project attributed to Wright-Turner’s team.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the new partnership, Wright-Turner remarked, “Over the last five years, we have worked with some amazing clients, successfully delivering over 2,250 Build to Rent (BTR) units. Credit must be given to our team, who continue to adapt quickly to challenges and remain proactive in helping developers navigate ever-increasing viability pressures.”
