Exercise Classes are back!
Our Physical Activity Referral Service (PARS) exercise classes are returning from Monday 12th April in line with lockdown easing. Our Exercise Tutors can't wait to get back into the studios and help people get active!
During lockdown all exercise classes have still been taking place online on Microsoft Teams. Our outdoor exercise classes have been going really well since they returned on 29th March when lockdown restrictions began to ease.
If you've been enjoying exercising at home, all the resources from our PARS team are still available.
We've put together a range of exercise guides to help people increase their fitness levels. Helping more people stay more active, more often! Check out the 5 guides here to read, download and print.
Our PARS team have launched a Facebook page where you can find a wide range of exercise videos and tips so you can get moving at home. Why not get involved by liking our page here? You can also find all these videos on our YouTube channel here.
We also have a Guide to Physical Activity which is a great introduction to read before starting exercising at home.
Since we uploaded all the Manchester Green Trail maps to our website in January, we've had over 2,000 map downloads in just 3 months! The trail is a collaboration between Manchester City Council, Transport for Greater Manchester, and Manchester and Salford Ramblers.
