Business and Performance Lead

My role involves looking after buzz’s business administration systems and also managing the Admin Team. I am responsible for having an overview of the buzz service finances, this includes ensuring the process of procurement to payment of goods/ services runs seamlessly. I look after the collection, quality and submission of performance data for reports requested by various stakeholders.

I started my career in the NHS in 2004; working in primary care finance, initially as a Payments Clerk. I resumed my studies and eventually worked my way up to the position of Management Accountant. In 2014 I decided I’d like to experience the challenge of working within a service rather than in a corporate function, I was lucky enough to be successful in my application to join buzz.

The best thing for me about buzz is all the amazing people I get to meet! From colleagues to people out in the community. Everyone’s story is different and I love to hear about the difference that’s being made to the lives of people in Manchester.

I love my family! I’ve four children who range in age from 9-26 so a lot of my time is spent looking after (and listening) to them. We spend lots of time socialising; we especially enjoy eating out together. Reading along with travelling to hot places with friends and family are also things that I love to do.
