Rick Forshaw

Physical Activity Referral Officer

I see people in consultations who have been referred for exercise to help manage long term health conditions. I signpost individuals to condition specific exercise classes within our service and to further exercise opportunities within the community. I also deliver exercise classes.

I have a degree in Sport and Exercise Science. I completed my BACPR cardiac rehabilitation qualification and started to do gym referrals from the PARS team. I then transferred over to the PARS team into my current role.

Everyone in buzz is so friendly, passionate and proud of their jobs, helping the communities of Manchester in a variety of ways.

I love to exercise myself with calisthenics (body weight) training, and I play tennis for a local team. I love going to see live rock and indie music. I also support Bolton Wanderers football club.
