My role is to provide proactive library services which assist users to find the information and evidence they need, when and where they need it. It also includes training, supporting courses, literature searching, evidence bulletins, enquiry services, and developing evidence-based practice and knowledge management in the trust.

I have an English Degree, and a Postgraduate Library Qualification. I also have an MSc in Information Management. I joined the NHS in 1987.

I love my job because it involves a wide variety of duties, and supporting all staff and students in their professional development and clinical and healthcare work. The buzz team and trust staff are all great to work with, enthusiastic and dedicated to their roles.

I like living in Manchester and enjoy going to the art galleries, concerts, cinemas, theatres and restaurants here. I often visit the Lakes, and enjoy walking there. I am interested in history, and visit historical and cultural sites around the country. I also enjoy railways, reading and photography.
