Knowledge Service Assistant
I work as part of the Knowledge Service team based in Fallowfield Library. My role involves answering queries, providing help and support, promotion of the service and the creation of bulletins to keep users up to date on areas of interest.
I joined the NHS/Library Service in 2021 and have previously worked in academic and public libraries. Whilst studying for my MA in Library and Information Management (2012), myself and 3 peers set up a network which aimed to provide CPD opportunities to new library professionals through in person events and the use of social media.
The energy, enthusiasm, support and dedication of the buzz team is amazing. It is nice to be working in a team where everyone is committed to helping people and improving communities.
I enjoy walking (I have a collie who loves long walks!), swimming and reading. Pre-COVID I loved travelling and going out dancing!
