Anna Jarawka

Neighbourhood Health Worker

I assist individuals and communities to adopt healthy behaviours and develop, set up and support community groups. I work to implement programs in the community that promote, maintain, and improve individual and community health.

I have a Masters in Applied Psychology, a PGCert in Community Engagement and Enterprise, and Community Psychology. In 2010 I started working for Community Organisers in Stockport actively building relationships that help to build a more active and democratic society where people are able to participate in the world around them. I started supporting communities with building their collective power to tackle inequalities. In 2012 I set up a Polish Community Library in Manchester, and I joined buzz in 2017.

I love working with diverse communities in North Manchester, supporting individuals and communities in achieving their goals and improving overall health and wellbeing.

I like spending time with my family, arts and various sports including snowboarding and CrossFit.
