South Korean home appliance company Coway has been honoured at the iF Design Awards 2025 for its NOBLE 2.0 Air Purifier series, reinforcing its reputation as a global leader in design innovation.
The NOBLE 2.0 Air Purifier received the accolade in the prestigious Product Design category, which evaluates entries based on idea, form, function, differentiation, and sustainability. The award marks Coway’s 18th consecutive year of recognition at the event.
Established in 1953, the International Forum (iF) Design Award is regarded as one of the most prestigious design competitions in the world. Products across multiple industries are assessed by an independent panel of experts, with winners recognised for their excellence in innovation and aesthetics.
Refined design and advanced purification
Coway’s NOBLE 2.0 Air Purifier series stood out for its refined square tower design, which combines sleek aesthetics with advanced air purification technology. Featuring a four-sided 4D filter system, the device enables 360-degree air purification, efficiently capturing and circulating clean air in spaces up to 133 square metres.
The product’s compact design and nature-inspired colour options allow it to integrate seamlessly into a variety of interior settings, offering both functionality and visual appeal.
A Coway official commented:
“This award is a testament to Coway’s commitment to innovative design and global competitiveness. We will continue to develop products that not only embody our unique design philosophy but also deliver exceptional experiences to our customers.”
Recognition for multiple Coway products
In addition to the NOBLE 2.0 Air Purifier series, three other Coway products were also recognised in the Product Design category at this year’s awards. Among them was a new water purifier, tentatively named ‘SWITCH’ (P-2200N), which offers both countertop and under-sink installation options.
Unlike conventional models, ‘SWITCH’ operates without electricity, making it a more sustainable choice for consumers. Coway recently showcased the product at Aquatech Amsterdam 2025, one of the leading global trade exhibitions for water technology, where it received significant interest from international buyers.
The recognition at the iF Design Awards further cements Coway’s position as a leading innovator in the home appliance industry. By focusing on sustainability, functionality, and design excellence, the company continues to push the boundaries of product development.
As Coway looks to the future, it remains committed to creating appliances that seamlessly blend into modern lifestyles while improving everyday living conditions.
