Leeds and Manchester-based property and construction consultancy Zerum Group has announced significant new client wins and key appointments as it starts the year on a high.
The multi-disciplinary consultancy has secured projects across Leeds, Liverpool, and Manchester, including a 700-unit build-to-rent scheme in Leeds and the Devon Street student accommodation development in Liverpool. Other notable projects include the Health Technology Innovation Hub in Leeds, developed in collaboration with Scarborough Development Group and Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, as well as several Manchester City Centre initiatives with Relentless Developments.
To support its growing portfolio, Zerum has bolstered its team with two senior appointments. Pheobe Threlfall has joined as associate director in planning, bringing expertise in mixed-use developments, while Luke Bishop has been promoted to projects director in the project management team.
Nikki Sills, Zerum’s planning partner, expressed enthusiasm for the new additions: “We’re delighted to welcome Phoebe to the team, which further strengthens our planning capabilities. Her experience in delivering major mixed-use schemes will be invaluable to our diverse client base across the North of England and beyond.”
Founded in 2013, Zerum operates nationally from its offices in Leeds and Manchester, offering a range of services including planning, development management, project management, cost management, and sustainable travel consultancy.
Andrew Duffy, partner at Zerum, reflected on the company’s strong performance over the past year. “Zerum enjoyed a hugely successful 2024, and we are thrilled to start 2025 with an exciting array of projects and by strengthening our team.
“Luke Bishop’s promotion to projects director is well deserved, recognising his leadership in delivering the prestigious St. Michael’s development in Manchester. This move underscores our commitment to rewarding excellence and maintaining the highest standards across our business.”
The consultancy’s recent successes highlight its growing influence in the property and construction sectors, particularly in the North of England. With an expanding portfolio and a strengthened leadership team, Zerum is well-positioned to continue its upward trajectory in 2025.
